Hooper were a myriad of styles and influences that came together to try and create something different. Hooper liked to play music that was musical to the ear and musical to the mind. Their material simply did not fit into one category - from the funk ridden ‘Let It Flow’, to the summery jazzy overtones of ‘Seventh Summer’, to the alternatively punked ‘Cruise To The Coast’. The music ventured to leave you with a lasting impression, as is typified by the simply catchy, ‘Cold Feet’.
Hooper wrote over 30 original songs in their time together, most never formally recorded. This collection consists of 14 live and rare recordings captured on a cassette recorder older than the actual band. The quality of the recording is not the best, but the songs remain honest and are still wholly original.
